Located approximately 77 kms from Nelson City (1 1/2 hrs driving time), 50 kms from Blenheim and only 30 kms from Rai Valley (45 mins driving time.)

Penzance is a very sheltered bay surrounded by gigantic ferns and native bush, perfect for paddleboarding and kayaking, on your doorstep is access to a water ski-ing/wakeboarding bay and some of the regions best fishing spots, gorgeous stoney beaches and clear waters that you will often find the stingrays, dolphins and seals visiting, and occasionally the orcas. 

There are also many stunning and picturesque bush walks, including our very own meandering private bush walk on our property, and relaxing seats.

For the energetic there are 3 stunning walks nearby, the Opouri Bridle Track, the Nydia Walking Track and the Archers Track that passes thru native and pine forest taking in breathtaking views of the Marlborough Sounds and ending up at Elaine Bay - three hours walking, (or if your experienced can be mountain biked).

The large public jetty (5 mins walking) has excellent facilities with a concrete boat ramp to launch your boat no matter whether its low or high tide, then bring around to our very own private mooring and jetty.   There is a diesel boat fueling station at Elaine Bay (about 15 mins by boat and takes mobil/credit cards) NB: Petrol is not available there, would have to be bought in.
